The supporters of Velez 100 booed when MANU F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Umbruso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Remigio Dodorol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Velez 100's Filiberto Corderro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Giro in the 13th minute of play. Ariel Abel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Filiberto Corderro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximo Giro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, Evaristo Fliz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 30 played minutes MANU F.C got a freekick which was hit by Americo Steven. After a rather tough play, Velez 100's Evaristo Fliz got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After recieving a nice pass, MANU F.C's Donato Umbruso tried to score from far away in the 34th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Giro in the 36th minute of play forced Velez 100's goalkeeper Filiberto Corderro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Velez 100's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ariel Abel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Maximo Giro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ariel Abel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Filiberto Corderro made a huge save. Velez 100's Filiberto Corderro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Giro in the 44th minute of play. Filiberto Corderro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Giro in the 47th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Maximo Giro made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Ariel Abel managed to get in a good position for a shot. MANU F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Ariel Abel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filiberto Corderro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 54 minutes into the match, Velez 100's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Abel came free, but Filiberto Corderro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind MANU F.C's goalkeeper Romeo Mambru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ariel Abel in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filiberto Corderro saved Velez 100 from getting behind. MANU F.C's Romeo Mambru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save MANU F.C from getting a goal against them. 68 minutes into the game, one of MANU F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Romeo Mambru, was totally fooled by Velez 100's Atilano Matxin, who 70 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Romeo Mambru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Martinez in the 76th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Velez 100's zone, Ariel Abel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filiberto Corderro came out of the goal and Ariel Abel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ariel Abel came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the MANU F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ariel Abel couldn't finish the play. With his leg Romeo Mambru managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Velez 100's Gregorio Cortez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 94 minutes into the match, Arnulfo Martinez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Romeo Mambru, 1-2. The Velez 100 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
