The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leo Danel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baldomiro Jaizki's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. After a rather tough play, Talaini's Nicanor Kusko got a free kick in the 6th minute. Carmen FC's Elvio Kepa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Talaini. In the 9th minute Florencio Cordarius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Romo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carmen FC's Leo Danel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Jaizki in the 12th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Urbano Eleder during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Carmen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Eleder to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th match minute, Talaini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosme Frantzes to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Carmen FC's Leo Danel got control of the ball when Marciano Teodor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marciano Teodor struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Leo Danel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talaini. Nicasio Goyo kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Talaini's Baldomiro Jaizki got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Marciano Teodor got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With his leg Leo Danel managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Talaini's Marciano Teodor fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Talaini's Donato Tiniebra got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Baldomiro Jaizki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, one of Carmen FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Carmen FC. Carmen FC:s Leo Danel showed great skill when he stopped Nicanor Kusko:s penalty. 47 minutes into the game, Marciano Teodor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Leo Danel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baldomiro Jaizki was the one to do the kick off. Mauro Cordeara hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Talaini were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Carmen FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nicanor Kusko took the corner. Patricio Romo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Cordarius, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 64 minutes, Melchor Semeno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carmen FC and the Talaini players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes Carmen FC got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Semeno. Baldomiro Jaizki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Leo Danel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauro Cordeara's late challenge caught a Talaini's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauro Cordeara helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71stth minute of the game Baldomiro Jaizki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carmen FC's Leo Danel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leo Danel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Teodor in the 72nd minute of the match. Leo Danel came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Talaini's Baldomiro Jaizki. But to his dismay, Baldomiro Jaizki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Carmen FC's zone, Baldomiro Jaizki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Danel came out of the goal and Baldomiro Jaizki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd match minute, Carmen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosendo Regis to maneuver through the defense. Baldomiro Jaizki scored 3-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leo Danel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marciano Teodor might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leo Danel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marciano Teodor ran back to his position shaking his head. Talaini's Marciano Teodor got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Marciano Teodor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talaini's supporters rose to their feet, but Marciano Teodor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Danel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
