After a defensive mix-up in Blandengues's zone, Natalio Roldanillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cleto Indartsu came out of the goal and Natalio Roldanillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the game, Rolando Dominic was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Piratas De Cordoba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blandengues the free kick. After 25 played minutes Los Piratas De Cordoba got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Dominic. Zeledon Sansone didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aldo Edur went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Natalio Roldanillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Roldanillo in the 46th minute of play forced Blandengues's goalkeeper Cleto Indartsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Blandengues were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Natalio Roldanillo made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Blandengues's Omar Madaleno got a free kick in the 71st minute. Blandengues's Cleto Indartsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Roldanillo in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Natalio Roldanillo made a precise shot to the right of Cleto Indartsu. Blandengues's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Cleto Indartsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candido Hustaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After 79 played minutes Blandengues got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Brion.
