The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ezequiel Uzuri came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Riquelme F.C.'s Maximino James. But to his dismay, Maximino James quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 17th minute, Albano Peru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Riquelme F.C. booed when Millo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Erdiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Andres Cristofor sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Millo FC's Ezequiel Uzuri didn't even have to move. 22 minutes into the match, Millo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino James came free, but Ezequiel Uzuri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Maximo Otsoko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Millo FC's Albano Peru got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albano Peru succeeded in the game's 44th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Albano Peru made the kick off in the second half. If Maximo Otsoko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Enzo Tomi fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riquelme F.C.'s protests and gave Enzo Tomi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Riquelme F.C.'s goalkeeper Haroldo Bertin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anier Aznar charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anier Aznar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
