Filiberto Lorencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 4 played minutes End of the World Train got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Aritza. Anselmo Sanchez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Braulio Nalo came out and tried to block the shot, but Anselmo Sanchez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 19th minute. Aguilares's Braulio Nalo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Aguilares from getting a goal against them. Anier Florinio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Hibai having to interfere. End of the World Train's Dionisio Hibai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Florinio in the 33rd minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Aguilares's Israel Godoy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dionisio Hibai narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Anselmo Sanchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Anier Florinio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Constantino Mano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Braulio Nalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
When Filiberto Lorencio came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Aguilares fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filiberto Lorencio couldn't finish the play. Filiberto Lorencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Dionisio Hibai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anier Florinio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dionisio Hibai read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Filiberto Lorencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Hibai having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, End of the World Train's goalkeeper Dionisio Hibai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filiberto Lorencio. The supporters of Aguilares booed when End of the World Train was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeledon Aritza didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Constantino Mano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
