The shot was stopped by Jacobo Gonchan but with some difficulty. Leonides Dubardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Jacobo Gonchan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Orlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 81 played minutes CURAHEE FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Oroitz. In the 82nd minute, Alvaro Domenec sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and CURAHEE FC's Jacobo Gonchan didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, Real Japón's Cristobal Quintin got a free kick in the 87th minute. Silvano Eztebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Menendo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Papo in the 92nd minute of play forced Real Japón's goalkeeper Anibal Menendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
