In the 18th match minute, Marquéz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Quirce to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Guillelmo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlos Quico. Marquéz FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Dalmacio Manuelo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. los salimens's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marquéz FC the free kick. A collision led to los salimens getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Dalmacio Manuelo hit a great ball. Roque Sanson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 20th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 24th minute of the match Emanuel Txatxu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Donato Frantzes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Oskitz in the 26th minute of play forced los salimens's goalkeeper Donato Frantzes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Flavio Gelmiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dalmacio Manuelo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Quico having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flavio Gelmiro in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Quico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of los salimens booed when Marquéz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Quirce didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flavio Gelmiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Janpier in the 52nd minute of play forced Marquéz FC's goalkeeper Carlos Quico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jesus Irrintzi during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 52 played minutes Marquéz FC got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Irrintzi. Elvio Janpier struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Carlos Quico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for los salimens. After a defensive mix-up in Marquéz FC's zone, Flavio Gelmiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Quico came out of the goal and Flavio Gelmiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Elvio Janpier managed to get in a good position for a shot. los salimens's supporters rose to their feet, but Elvio Janpier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Quico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute, Elvio Janpier made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Quico. Marquéz FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Oskitz in the 67th minute of play forced los salimens's goalkeeper Donato Frantzes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind los salimens's goalkeeper Donato Frantzes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Leo Gonchan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Donato Frantzes. That made the score 1-1 in the 72 minute of play. Carlos Quico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvio Janpier, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 84 minutes into the match, los salimens's Elvio Janpier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Quico narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Flavio Gelmiro made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Quico. Marquéz FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 93 minutes into the game, los salimens's Flavio Gelmiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Quico made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Marquéz FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
