Alonzo Atarratze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Selmo having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Larrechea FC's Victoriano Tajo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Osvaldo Selmo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alonzo Atarratze scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osvaldo Selmo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 16 minutes, Victoriano Tajo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Larrechea FC and the Diecisiete F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Victoriano Tajo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Prospero Montez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Herrera in the 19th minute of the match. When Geronimo Garci fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diecisiete F.C's protests and gave Geronimo Garci a yellow card for diving instead. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Diecisiete F.C! The referee gave Larrechea FC a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sebastian Montae, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Diecisiete F.C's Osvaldo Selmo. 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Victoriano Tajo took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Osvaldo Selmo to make any attempt to save it. In the 60th match minute, Larrechea FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Montae to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Diecisiete F.C getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Eleuterio Santio hit a great ball. Cornelio Bautista hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Valentin Herrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Montez having to interfere. Diecisiete F.C's Osvaldo Selmo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Diecisiete F.C from getting a goal against them. Osvaldo Selmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Tajo in the 78th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Diecisiete F.C's Eleuterio Santio got a free kick in the 79th minute. Osvaldo Selmo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cornelio Bautista went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. Alonzo Atarratze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Selmo having to interfere. Cornelio Bautista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Diecisiete F.C's Eleuterio Santio got a free kick in the 96th minute. When Alonzo Atarratze came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Larrechea FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alonzo Atarratze couldn't finish the play. The Diecisiete F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Larrechea FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
