Silvio Mosen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Duarte having to interfere. After having played for 4 minutes, Gualterio Fernado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alcorta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualterio Fernado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Fabricio Markel fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Matadores De Pilar's protests and gave Fabricio Markel a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Club Matadores De Pilar's Fabricio Markel got a free kick in the 7th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Mauro Ipar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angel Sotero. Alcorta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauro Ipar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 21st match minute, Club Matadores De Pilar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Feo to maneuver through the defense. When Leonardo Libertad fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alcorta's protests and gave Leonardo Libertad a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 played minutes Alcorta got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Libertad. Hector Cordero's late challenge caught a Club Matadores De Pilar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hector Cordero helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Alcorta getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Hector Cordero hit a great ball. Alcorta's Angel Sotero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Diegotxe in the 33rd minute of play. When Mauro Ipar came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Club Matadores De Pilar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauro Ipar couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Silvio Mosen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alcorta's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvio Mosen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristobal Duarte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mauro Ipar to strike the kick off in the second half. Angel Sotero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Ipar, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. If Silvio Mosen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 played minutes Club Matadores De Pilar got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Fertus. Cristobal Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Mosen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Teodoro Fertus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Club Matadores De Pilar's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Mosen came free, but Cristobal Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute Alcorta were awarded a corner. Jeronimo Lico went to the cornerflag to take it. Alcorta's Jeronimo Lico was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cristobal Duarte in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Guaberto Barto's late challenge caught a Alcorta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guaberto Barto helped the player get up and apologised. Guaberto Barto kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. The supporters of Club Matadores De Pilar booed when Alcorta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Mosen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Matadores De Pilar's goalkeeper Cristobal Duarte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Mauro Ipar came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Club Matadores De Pilar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauro Ipar couldn't finish the play. Silvio Mosen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Cristobal Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
