Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Barcelona's Anier Aznar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fernando Theobald could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Florencio Lia made a huge save. Jeronimo Peio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aurelio Ganix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Florencio Lia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anier Aznar in the 24th minute of play forced Castellanos FC's goalkeeper Santos Gamus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Ganix came free, but Florencio Lia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeronimo Peio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Santos Gamus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Jeronimo Peio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barcelona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Barcelona's zone, Aurelio Ganix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florencio Lia came out of the goal and Aurelio Ganix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 48 played minutes Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Koldobika. It was beautiful to see Castellanos FC's Feliberto Stephen in action when he in the 49th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After the first half Barcelona were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aurelio Ganix to make the kick off. The supporters of Castellanos FC booed when Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustin Estebano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 57 minutes of play, Castellanos FC's Aurelio Ganix made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florencio Lia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Santos Gamus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Aznar in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Castellanos FC's goalkeeper Santos Gamus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anier Aznar in the 66th minute of play forced Castellanos FC's goalkeeper Santos Gamus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Castellanos FC's Filiberto Orlin got a free kick in the 68th minute. After some careless play in the Barcelona defense, Aurelio Ganix kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florencio Lia. The Barcelona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florencio Lia should have stopped the shot. 77 minutes into the match, Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Theobald came free, but Florencio Lia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barcelona were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Castellanos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dalmacio Todor took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Dalmacio Todor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Santos Gamus quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Dalmacio Todor came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Barcelona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmacio Todor couldn't finish the play. Castellanos FC's Santos Gamus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Castellanos FC from getting a goal against them. Santos Gamus made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Jeronimo Peio sent off a good shot on target.
