In the 14th minute of the match Paolo Perrando shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tiburcio Norino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 16 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Angostura's Arnaldo Peio fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Serafin Abaurre kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Tiburcio Norino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Peio in the 18th minute of play. Paolo Perrando shot from long distance in the 22nd minute, but Tiburcio Norino was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Dalmacio Quinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Bembe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jairo Argoitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiburcio Norino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnaldo Peio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dalmacio Quinto in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Manuel Bembe, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
