The supporters of CHESPIPERNAMBUCANO booed when JCLB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquilino Tome didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sharma Manteca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Rosendo Chap tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sharma Manteca struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Rosendo Chap didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CHESPIPERNAMBUCANO. In the 15th minute of the match Filomeno Nahia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teodoro Cugat skillfully saved the ball. In the 24th match minute, CHESPIPERNAMBUCANO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Corderro to maneuver through the defense. Donato Cordeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After some careless play in the JCLB defense, Sharma Manteca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rosendo Chap. The JCLB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rosendo Chap should have stopped the shot. 38 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Cordairo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Teodoro Cugat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 42nd match minute, JCLB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Tome to maneuver through the defense. Sharma Manteca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Cordairo in the 46th minute of play forced CHESPIPERNAMBUCANO's goalkeeper Teodoro Cugat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidro Ferman kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rigoberto Cordairo to strike the kick off in the second half. Sharma Manteca might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rosendo Chap. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sharma Manteca ran back to his position shaking his head. Sharma Manteca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Rosendo Chap made a huge save. Teodoro Cugat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Cordairo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CHESPIPERNAMBUCANO's Teodoro Cugat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Cordairo in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sharma Manteca in the 59th minute of play forced JCLB's goalkeeper Rosendo Chap to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rigoberto Cordairo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, CHESPIPERNAMBUCANO's Donato Cordeiro got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 70th minute Ambrosio Virila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Cugat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sharma Manteca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sharma Manteca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, CHESPIPERNAMBUCANO's Sharma Manteca ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rosendo Chap. Rosendo Chap yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the CHESPIPERNAMBUCANO players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
