Primitivo Locaio charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Mateo Ursino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Eduardo Paul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Mouricio got free with Eduardo Paul in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mateo Ursino was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Jorge Mouricio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Picapiedras FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Mouricio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jorge Mouricio came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Los Picapiedras FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Mouricio couldn't finish the play. Herminio Pacorro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cesar Virila having to make a save. If Claudio Vimaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Jorge Mouricio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Picapiedras FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Mouricio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Paul breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mateo Ursino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Eduardo Paul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute Mateo Ursino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Paul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 3-0 became the score in the 86th minute when Mateo Ursino elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jorge Mouricio kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. A collision led to Los Picapiedras FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Jorge Mouricio hit a great ball. Mateo Ursino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eduardo Paul read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Los Picapiedras FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
