In the 36th minute, Roque Goi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Elvio Abascal, passed just outside the right post. When Angelo Malvin came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Aparicio FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Malvin couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Roque Goi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aparicio FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roque Goi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elvio Abascal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elvio Abascal made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Roque Goi sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angelo Malvin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Aparicio FC got a freekick which was hit by Anier Luix. Octavio Aznaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Udalaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Tonio having to interfere. After having played for 64 minutes, Roque Goi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aparicio FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roque Goi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute, Angelo Malvin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aparicio FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 72nd minute, Octavio Aznaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Angelo Malvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 82nd minute, Mario Mingo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Roque Goi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Angelo Malvin came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Aparicio FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Malvin couldn't finish the play. 87 minutes into the match, Angelo Malvin notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Estudiantes de Hernando's Elvio Abascal. Elvio Abascal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Estudiantes de Hernando's goalkeeper Elvio Abascal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hilario Tonio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Udalaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jonathan Udalaitz came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Estudiantes de Hernando fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Udalaitz couldn't finish the play. Roque Goi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvio Abascal having to interfere.
