The supporters of Arrecifes AFC booed when Burruyacú FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Bastia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerardo Enmanuel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerardo Enmanuel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Emilio Oton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leandro Quintan might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emilio Oton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leandro Quintan ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 22nd minute Gerardo Enmanuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Oton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd play minute Leandro Quintan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Emilio Oton. 1-1. Melquiades Bordat's late challenge caught a Arrecifes AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Melquiades Bordat helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th match minute, Burruyacú FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melquiades Bordat to maneuver through the defense. Pastor Joseph hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Leandro Quintan might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emilio Oton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leandro Quintan ran back to his position shaking his head. Arrecifes AFC's Leandro Quintan suffered a sore thigh after 38 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Diego Aritza's late challenge caught a Arrecifes AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Aritza helped the player get up and apologised. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aquiles Muc to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Burruyacú FC got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Lordi. Aquiles Muc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Gotzon having to interfere. Emilio Gotzon made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Samuel Ritchie sent off a good shot on target. If Severo Ralondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Burruyacú FC's goalkeeper Emilio Oton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Silvio Lordi hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Burruyacú FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emanuel Loramendi was slow to take the kick. During this time Arrecifes AFC's players had a chance to rest. Arrecifes AFC's Emanuel Loramendi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Emilio Oton in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 70th minute, Froilan Mitxaut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aquiles Muc in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilio Gotzon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pastor Joseph kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Emilio Gotzon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samuel Ritchie in the 79th minute. Aquiles Muc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Emilio Gotzon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel Ritchie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Gotzon having to interfere. If Gerardo Enmanuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Arrecifes AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Burruyacú FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
