Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sixto Socorro kicked off to start the match. Virgilio Bidari charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Virgilio Bidari the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 5 played minutes Niupi F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Bidari. Palermo FC's Angel Maurino shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 6th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Eulalio Mino but with some difficulty. Virgilio Bidari got his second yellow card in the match during the 11th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Niupi F.C. getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Abel Abadie hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Socorro in the 15th minute of play forced Niupi F.C.'s goalkeeper Eulalio Mino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Mariano Ederono left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Niupi F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Sixto Socorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 22 played minutes Niupi F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Nardo. 25 minutes into the match, Niupi F.C.'s goalkeeper Eulalio Mino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cosme Frichoso. When Cosme Frichoso came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Palermo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cosme Frichoso couldn't finish the play. Benjamin Bembe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Ederono in the 43rd minute of play. Cosme Frichoso struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Eulalio Mino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palermo FC. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Ederono stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Palermo FC's Cosme Frichoso got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cosme Frichoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Mino having to interfere. If Mariano Ederono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 58th minute, Herminio Rico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A long shot from Silvano Cordario in the 59th minute of play was well struck, but Benjamin Bembe made a really good save at the right post. Mariano Ederono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Benjamin Bembe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Niupi F.C.'s Augusto Nardo got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 66 minutes into the match, Palermo FC's Sixto Socorro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eulalio Mino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sixto Socorro in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eulalio Mino saved Niupi F.C. from getting behind. Cosme Frichoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernan Rafe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Bembe having to interfere. Niupi F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
