Jorge Sugoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Adolfo Camerino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute Adolfo Camerino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Matei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bartolo Raymond's late challenge caught a Salomillo AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bartolo Raymond helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Villa San Carlos getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Bartolo Raymond hit a great ball. A hard shot 12 in the game by Atilano Blasi from a close distance when the talented Cayetano Mel managed to make a qualified save. Villa San Carlos's players were relieved. Atilano Blasi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Cayetano Mel made a huge save. Remigio Maldonado hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Cayetano Mel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Galo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Laurin in the 18th minute of play forced Salomillo AC's goalkeeper Geronimo Matei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salomillo AC's Geronimo Matei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Camerino in the 24th minute of play. Villa San Carlos's Cayetano Mel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Villa San Carlos from getting a goal against them. In the 31st minute, Santo Galo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Atilano Blasi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Mel having to interfere. When Bartolo Raymond was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 33 minutes had been played. Santo Galo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atilano Blasi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Mel having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Galo in the 41st minute of play forced Villa San Carlos's goalkeeper Cayetano Mel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 minutes, Alfredo Darien mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villa San Carlos and the Salomillo AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cayetano Mel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Santo Galo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 45 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santo Galo made a kick off. Santo Galo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Blasi in the 58th minute of play forced Villa San Carlos's goalkeeper Cayetano Mel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Aldo Bartoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cayetano Mel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabian Kiliz went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Cayetano Mel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilano Blasi in the 66th minute of the match. Cayetano Mel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Blasi in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute Santo Galo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Mel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santo Galo took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cayetano Mel. Cayetano Mel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. If Santo Galo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Villa San Carlos getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Adolfo Camerino hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Atilano Blasi put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cayetano Mel. For all the effort they put into the match, the Villa San Carlos players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Salomillo AC.
