Naipe AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lino Gelmiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejandro Mede breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcos Hartz during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Naipe AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Hartz to maneuver through the defense. After 12 minutes of play, Etchegoyen's Narciso Franco made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonatan Llorienzo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the match, Etchegoyen's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Lucado came free, but Alejandro Mede reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alejandro Mede made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lino Gelmiro in the 17th minute. The referee gave Etchegoyen a penalty, 21 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Saturnino Oto, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Naipe AFC's Jonatan Llorienzo. 0-2. Godofredo Ramirez hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, Etchegoyen's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Lucado came free, but Alejandro Mede reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonatan Llorienzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Ralondo in the 26th minute of the match. Jonatan Llorienzo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Narciso Franco's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 35 minutes into the match, Narciso Franco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonatan Llorienzo. Naipe AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Narciso Franco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Narciso Franco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Llorienzo having to interfere. Jonatan Llorienzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Narciso Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Narciso Franco to make the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Alonzo Guillerme shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alejandro Mede showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jonatan Llorienzo made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Valentin Ralondo sent off a good shot on target. 59 minutes into the game, Narciso Franco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonatan Llorienzo. Narciso Franco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Alejandro Mede took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ariel Lucado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the game, Camilo Soter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Etchegoyen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Naipe AFC the free kick. After 64 played minutes Etchegoyen got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Soter. Naipe AFC were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Etchegoyen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gualterio Rey took the corner. Etchegoyen's Narciso Franco got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lino Gelmiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alejandro Mede. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lino Gelmiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Ariel Lucado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Alejandro Mede tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ariel Lucado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alejandro Mede was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Jonatan Llorienzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Franco, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Narciso Franco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Jonatan Llorienzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Valentin Ralondo could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Jonatan Llorienzo however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Naipe AFC's Apolo Azibar got a free kick in the 94th minute. Etchegoyen were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Naipe AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Saturnino Oto took the corner.
