Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lucio Cidro made the kick off which started today's match. Rene Matxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Ugutz in the 3rd minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Elpidio Balendin notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Euskadi's Paulo Eneto. Paulo Eneto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Euskadi defense, Esteban Ospin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Eneto. The Euskadi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Eneto should have stopped the shot. Esteban Ospin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Eneto having to interfere. When Esteban Ospin came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Chañar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteban Ospin couldn't finish the play. Esteban Ospin was extremely unlucky when he, in the 33rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Paulo Eneto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Esteban Ospin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 37 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Euskadi's David Soter got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Leonides Piarres sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Euskadi's Paulo Eneto didn't even have to move. 43 minutes into the match, Euskadi's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Ospin came free, but Paulo Eneto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 played minutes Euskadi got a freekick which was hit by David Soter. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Esteban Ospin made a kick off. A collision led to Chañar getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Adolfo Rios hit a great ball. Faustino Ugutz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Rene Matxin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Esteban Ospin took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Eneto. Paulo Eneto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 66 minutes into the match, Chañar's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Cidro came free, but Rene Matxin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucio Cidro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Matxin having to interfere. If Elpidio Balendin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elpidio Balendin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Esteban Ospin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Euskadi's Luciano Lore dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. After 82 minutes, Augusto Gaskon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Euskadi and the Chañar players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Chañar booed when Euskadi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Gaskon didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Soter was shown his second yellow card after 88 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 89th match minute, Euskadi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Soter to maneuver through the defense. Faustino Ugutz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Chañar's Rene Matxin got control of the ball when Faustino Ugutz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chañar were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Euskadi for a fine match.
