Potatoe Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gavino Sabino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Gavino Sabino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Raimundo Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gavino Sabino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Domingues having to interfere. Tomas Milian lost his temper 22 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Juan Manuel de Rosas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Potatoe Team:s goal. In the 24th minute there was a penalty for Potatoe Team. Bernardino Fonso stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pascual Ruisko. 1-1. In the 27th minute, Fausto Iliana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pascual Ruisko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Havier in the 27th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gavino Sabino got free with Raimundo Domingues in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 32 minutes, Eusebio Brion managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
