The audience was convinced that Emilio Bero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rene Ekain was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Eriberto Argenis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rene Ekain having to make a save. Emilio Bero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Eriberto Argenis made a precise shot to the right of Rene Ekain. Uribelarrea AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Lucero during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Chuchucaruana getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Patricio Lucero hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Jesus Felipo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Uribelarrea AFC booed when Chuchucaruana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Lucero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gregorio Esquipula charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gregorio Esquipula the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rene Ekain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Bero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Freddy Pancho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Felipo in the 44th minute of the match. Eriberto Argenis might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rene Ekain. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eriberto Argenis ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eriberto Argenis to make the kick off. Rene Ekain stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eriberto Argenis's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 58th match minute, Chuchucaruana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Blasi to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute of the match Adan Orain shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Freddy Pancho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Freddy Pancho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jesus Felipo's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. 61 minutes into the game, one of Chuchucaruana:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Freddy Pancho went to the wrong direction when Adan Orain was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After 68 played minutes Chuchucaruana got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Blasi. After 69 played minutes Chuchucaruana got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Blasi. Paolo Blasi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Tristan in the 80th minute of play forced Chuchucaruana's goalkeeper Freddy Pancho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddy Pancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adan Tristan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Emilio Bero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chuchucaruana's supporters rose to their feet, but Emilio Bero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rene Ekain breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 88 minutes of play, Uribelarrea AFC's Jesus Felipo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Freddy Pancho was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 97 played minutes Uribelarrea AFC got a freekick which was hit by Adan Orain. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
