With a couple of smart ball manuevers Venancio Urdaspal in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciriaco Cutberto saved Huncal FC from getting behind. Silverio Florinio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Cutberto having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Hugo Jerardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Sebastian Firman fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ballycastle Bats's protests and gave Sebastian Firman a yellow card for diving instead. Candido Hechter kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Huncal FC's Hugo Jerardo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Fabian Garaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huncal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabian Garaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauricio Rutenio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 36 minutes into the match, Ballycastle Bats's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Garaona came free, but Mauricio Rutenio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th match minute, Ballycastle Bats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Salvatore to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute of the match Hugo Jerardo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mauricio Rutenio skillfully saved the ball. If Venancio Urdaspal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabian Garaona was the one to do the kick off. Celso Eutor's late challenge caught a Ballycastle Bats's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celso Eutor helped the player get up and apologised. Celso Eutor hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the match, Ballycastle Bats's Bruno Salvatore broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Hugo Jerardo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 60 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Urdaspal in the 68th minute of play forced Huncal FC's goalkeeper Ciriaco Cutberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ballycastle Bats's Silverio Florinio in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Huncal FC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Ballycastle Bats booed when Huncal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Harriet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venancio Urdaspal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ciriaco Cutberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciriaco Cutberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Florinio in the 90th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silverio Florinio in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciriaco Cutberto saved Huncal FC from getting behind. If Silverio Florinio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
