After 26 minutes, Celso Eutor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huncal FC and the Andagualá AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Celso Eutor hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. If Leopoldo Bihar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andagualá AFC's Domingo Firme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Andagualá AFC from getting a goal against them. After 40 played minutes Huncal FC got a freekick which was hit by Moises Harriet. Fabian Garaona struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Domingo Firme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huncal FC. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Fabian Garaona might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domingo Firme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabian Garaona ran back to his position shaking his head. Domingo Firme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Erlantz in the 92nd minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Andagualá AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Huncal FC.
