Luisito Tercero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Colon having to interfere. In the 14th minute Luisito Tercero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Colon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute of the match Rolando Garin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacobo Colon skillfully saved the ball. Luisito Tercero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Jacobo Colon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Seguinus hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Osma FC's Abelardo Cordeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Alejandro Cloyo managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Osma FC's Abelardo Cordeiro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Carmelo Telo hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Rolando Garin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jacobo Colon. Osma FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Osma FC's goalkeeper Jacobo Colon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 42 minutes, Luisito Tercero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carmelo Telo made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Osma FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Goizeder came free, but Jacobo Colon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
