Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Espeleta AFC's Norberto Cuartio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Espeleta AFC's Bernabe Bela sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Conrado Paio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Felipe Primeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Izel in the 5th minute of play. After 18 minutes, Rigoberto Stanislao mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Espeleta AFC and the Merced AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Octavio Izel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Felipe Primeiro. That made the score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. Conrado Paio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Franco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Merced AFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Baltasar Flores hit a great ball. Conrado Paio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabe Bela, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Bernabe Bela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Merced AFC's Conrado Paio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Cuartio in the 35th minute of play. In the 40th minute Norberto Cuartio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Paio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Primeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Izel in the 45th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Octavio Izel was the one to do the kick off. Conrado Paio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Cuartio, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Felipe Primeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Izel in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th match minute, Espeleta AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernabe Bela to maneuver through the defense. Octavio Izel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Felipe Primeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Octavio Izel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Primeiro having to interfere. In the 61st minute Octavio Izel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Primeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidoro Ascencio in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felipe Primeiro saved Espeleta AFC from getting behind. Isidoro Ascencio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Octavio Izel scored 2-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felipe Primeiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Felipe Primeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Ascencio in the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Isidoro Ascencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Primeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th play minute Bernabe Bela came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Conrado Paio. 2-1. In the 93rd minute Isidoro Ascencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Primeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
