Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ramon Jokin started the match with the kick off. In the 12th minute, Ramon Jokin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Candelaria's Jonatan Lartaun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Cuartio in the 15th minute of play. Gavino Macerio hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Jonatan Lartaun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Martxelin, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Norberto Cuartio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Jonatan Lartaun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Norberto Cuartio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonatan Lartaun was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jonatan Lartaun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernabe Bela went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Vicente Franco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonatan Lartaun was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Jonatan Lartaun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Cuartio in the 38th minute of play. The Espeleta AFC fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Espeleta AFC's Bernabe Bela looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bernabe Bela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Espeleta AFC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Bernabe Bela succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 52nd playminute. In the 56th minute, Candelaria's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bernabe Bela fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jonatan Lartaun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norberto Cuartio's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Bernabe Bela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Lartaun having to interfere. Norberto Cuartio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonatan Lartaun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. The supporters of Espeleta AFC booed when Candelaria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Veto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vicente Franco's late challenge caught a Candelaria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vicente Franco helped the player get up and apologised. After 68 played minutes Espeleta AFC got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Franco. With an all-out effort, Espeleta AFC's Jonatan Lartaun threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Norberto Cuartio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jonatan Lartaun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Cuartio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernabe Bela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonatan Lartaun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Candelaria's zone, Norberto Cuartio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonatan Lartaun came out of the goal and Norberto Cuartio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vicente Franco struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Jonatan Lartaun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Espeleta AFC. Bernabe Bela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Jonatan Lartaun made a huge save.
