If Edgardo Tulio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nicolas Abella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severo Ilixo, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. A collision led to Kaizers FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Efrain Bingen hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the match, Club Ramirez Formosa's Desiderio Ponciano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicolas Abella narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edgardo Tulio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Birjaio having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Club Ramirez Formosa's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Tulio came free, but Artemio Birjaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Desiderio Ponciano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicolas Abella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Ilixo in the 20th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Desiderio Ponciano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicolas Abella was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. After 22 played minutes Kaizers FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Paulin. After having played for 23 minutes, Severo Ilixo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Ramirez Formosa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severo Ilixo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Artemio Birjaio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgard Raebert in the 28th minute. Edgardo Tulio might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Artemio Birjaio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgardo Tulio ran back to his position shaking his head. Edgardo Tulio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Birjaio having to interfere. Severo Ilixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Abella having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kaizers FC's zone, Desiderio Ponciano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Abella came out of the goal and Desiderio Ponciano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Kaizers FC defense, Severo Ilixo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicolas Abella. The Kaizers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicolas Abella should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgardo Tulio to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Edgard Raebert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artemio Birjaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Club Ramirez Formosa booed when Kaizers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Paulin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Club Ramirez Formosa's Cayetano Rolado tried to score from far away in the 58th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Desiderio Ponciano got free with Nicolas Abella in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Club Ramirez Formosa booed when Kaizers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Paulin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Ramirez Formosa's goalkeeper Artemio Birjaio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 81 minutes of play, Club Ramirez Formosa's Desiderio Ponciano made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolas Abella was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 89th minute there was a penalty for Kaizers FC. Prospero Castulo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Artemio Birjaio. 1-2. After 99 played minutes Kaizers FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Raebert.
