The referee ignored Orsatti's protests and gave Horacio Policarpio a yellow card for diving instead. 26 minutes into the match, Manucho's Fernando Berart broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Astor Bastiaro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Conrado Sotil showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 62 minute of play. Eliseo Ticho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilfredo Soin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. After 97 minutes of play, Manucho's Astor Gerazan made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilfredo Soin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Manucho's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
