Leopoldo Rufio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Mede, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 16 minutes in the game, Augusto Cordaryal fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Leopoldo Rufio having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gallegos's zone, Christian Dei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teo Mundo came out of the goal and Christian Dei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute, Gallegos's Remigio Mede ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leopoldo Rufio. Leopoldo Rufio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. If Remigio Mede had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leopoldo Rufio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Mede in the 40th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Remigio Mede was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Remigio Mede ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopoldo Rufio was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Augusto Cordaryal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 58th minute, Remigio Mede got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Remigio Mede had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remigio Mede received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Leopoldo Rufio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dolores's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augusto Cordaryal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. It was Carmelo Urko who took care of the corner kick. Remigio Mede made a great header on Gallegos's corner, it was just that Dolores's Leopoldo Rufio managed to reach the ball for a save. Gallegos's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
