With a little luck, C.A.FRANCOLINI's Rene Elivareo got control of the ball when Modesto Perutxo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Modesto Perutxo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rene Elivareo, 1-0. Modesto Perutxo struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Rene Elivareo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for STANLEY. Ruperto Guipuzkoa hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute of the match Norberto Ubelteso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eugenio Weterio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Claudio Marz managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A.FRANCOLINI's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudio Marz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugenio Weterio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute, Claudio Marz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eugenio Weterio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Bernardo Viator could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Rene Elivareo made a huge save. Eugenio Weterio came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A.FRANCOLINI's Christian Eyague. But to his dismay, Christian Eyague quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The supporters of C.A.FRANCOLINI booed when STANLEY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uriel Txartiko didn't get a good kick on the ball. The STANLEY players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. C.A.FRANCOLINI were winning 1-2.

51 minutes into the game, Edgardo James was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. STANLEY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A.FRANCOLINI the free kick. Edgardo James kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Bernardo Viator managed to get in a good position for a shot. STANLEY's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Viator was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rene Elivareo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Genaro Harri fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A.FRANCOLINI's protests and gave Genaro Harri a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to C.A.FRANCOLINI getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Genaro Harri hit a great ball. Rene Elivareo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Modesto Perutxo's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. During the 61st minute of the match Genaro Harri completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Genaro Harri a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Rene Elivareo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Perutxo in the 63rd minute of the match. Modesto Perutxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th match minute, C.A.FRANCOLINI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Gonzalez to maneuver through the defense. Ruperto Guipuzkoa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rene Elivareo. C.A.FRANCOLINI's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for STANLEY. Ruperto Guipuzkoa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rene Elivareo. 2-2. Claudio Marz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute, Clemente Gerazan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudio Marz got free with Eugenio Weterio in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Claudio Marz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudio Marz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Eugenio Weterio made a huge save. Bernardo Viator recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rene Elivareo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Viator, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
