Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Filiberto Guipuzkoa started the match with the kick off. Ramiro Checa kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 5 minutes into the game, when Andres Domingues put in a rough tackle. In the 7th minute there was a penalty for Marlboro FC. Jacinto Balasi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alfredo Primo. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnulfo Paul during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Epifanio Gaizko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Taurino in the 11th minute of play. Generoso Tavio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Alfredo Primo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnulfo Paul was shown his second yellow card after 16 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 16 played minutes Marlboro FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Paul. With his leg Alfredo Primo managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Marlboro FC's Zeledon Elazar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Zeledon Elazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Primo having to interfere. Tomas Taurino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Epifanio Gaizko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Marlboro FC's Zeledon Elazar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredo Primo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 47th minute of the match Jacinto Balasi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfredo Primo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

52 minutes into the match, LA TORONJA MECANICA's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Elazar came free, but Alfredo Primo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marlboro FC's Epifanio Gaizko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Marlboro FC from getting a goal against them. If Danilo Mederi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of LA TORONJA MECANICA booed when Marlboro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Balasi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Taurino's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Epifanio Gaizko skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Marlboro FC's zone, Tomas Taurino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Gaizko came out of the goal and Tomas Taurino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. LA TORONJA MECANICA's Celso Dei got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfredo Primo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Elazar in the 79th minute of play. Alfredo Primo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zeledon Elazar's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. If Zeledon Elazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Generoso Tavio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute Zeledon Elazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Primo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to LA TORONJA MECANICA getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Celso Dei hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Marlboro FC had won after a very even match.
