Thanks to some nice moves Filiberto Diagur could shoot a difficult shot in the 7th minute, which Oscar Frasco however easily saved by the left post. Bruno Eleder took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oscar Frasco. Villa Crespo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Villa Crespo's Maximiliano Rey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Virgilio Tiniebra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 16th minute, Cecilio Ixidor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Braulio Paskal came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Villa Crespo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braulio Paskal couldn't finish the play. Leandro Jordy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Frasco having to interfere. Filiberto Diagur in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Oscar Frasco, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Oscar Frasco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Oscar Frasco came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Caucete AFC's Leandro Jordy. But to his dismay, Leandro Jordy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Virgilio Tiniebra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Rey in the 36th minute of the match. With a little luck, Villa Crespo's Oscar Frasco got control of the ball when Filiberto Diagur tried to sneak it across the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Leandro Jordy dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Oscar Frasco, 2-1. Oscar Frasco made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Filiberto Diagur sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

A collision led to Villa Crespo getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Domingos Fagildo hit a great ball.
