Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Humberto Pepillo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 2 minutes, Alejo Evangelista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tralalhué FC and the INSTITUTO players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tralalhué FC's Alejo Evangelista got a free kick in the 3rd minute. When INSTITUTO's Isidoro Foro in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tralalhué FC's goalie prevented a goal. Inocencio Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Pepillo in the 7th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Humberto Pepillo in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inocencio Barros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Humberto Pepillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Zeledon Ihazintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dalmacio Ponce got free with Ovidio Gaueko in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dalmacio Ponce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Ovidio Gaueko made a huge save. In the 23rd minute Zeledon Ihazintu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Gaueko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Dalmacio Ponce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tralalhué FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dalmacio Ponce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidio Gaueko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute, Eulalio Maura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 39 played minutes Tralalhué FC got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Jusepe. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Pepillo in the 40th minute of play forced Tralalhué FC's goalkeeper Inocencio Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alejo Evangelista kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Inocencio Barros came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by INSTITUTO's Isidoro Foro. But to his dismay, Isidoro Foro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1.

INSTITUTO's Ovidio Gaueko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Ihazintu in the 52nd minute of play. Ovidio Gaueko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmacio Ponce, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Humberto Dabi kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After 59 played minutes, Tralalhué FC's Aquiles Orlin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ovidio Gaueko came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tralalhué FC reached it. After some careless play in the INSTITUTO defense, Zeledon Ihazintu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ovidio Gaueko. The INSTITUTO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ovidio Gaueko should have stopped the shot. In the 69th minute, Isidoro Foro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Dalmacio Ponce put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ovidio Gaueko. INSTITUTO's Donato Gaizko shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 78th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Inocencio Barros but with some difficulty. Inocencio Barros made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Humberto Dabi sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 84 minutes, Humberto Pepillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INSTITUTO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Humberto Pepillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isidoro Foro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Inocencio Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isidoro Foro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inocencio Barros having to interfere. Tralalhué FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
