Sportivo Atilio Peronne's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quilmes the free kick. When the match had been going on for 23 minutes, Quilmes's Edelmiro Chico got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jacobo Sergi. Cayetano Bieito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Chico in the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Chico in the 32nd minute of play forced Quilmes's goalkeeper Cayetano Bieito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fidel Chico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Bieito having to interfere. Basilio Quin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jacobo Sergi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sportivo Atilio Peronne's Jacobo Sergi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Sportivo Atilio Peronne from getting a goal against them. When Ladislao Ponc fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quilmes's protests and gave Ladislao Ponc a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Quilmes getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Ladislao Ponc hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Jacobo Bermudo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sportivo Atilio Peronne fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.

The wind increased when Basilio Quin made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Quilmes's goalkeeper Cayetano Bieito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacobo Bermudo. Zacarias Oliverios blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacobo Sergi having to make a save. Fidel Chico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Bieito having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Sportivo Atilio Peronne's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Oliverios came free, but Jacobo Sergi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Quilmes's Domingos Tulio got a free kick in the 76th minute. After 78 played minutes Quilmes got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Tulio. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quilmes's goalkeeper Cayetano Bieito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Basilio Quin scored 2-2 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Sergi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th minute of the match Tomás Turi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacobo Sergi skillfully saved the ball. The Sportivo Atilio Peronne players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Quilmes from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
