In the 7th match minute, Gonnet FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Espiridion to maneuver through the defense. Albano Jago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Cordarrol having to interfere. Cayetano Cordarrol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albano Jago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iker Ortle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cayetano Cordarrol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Iker Ortle scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cayetano Cordarrol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Albano Jago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Cayetano Cordarrol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaudencio Ibar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Delmiro Etxatxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Iker Ortle came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Tusaquilla AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iker Ortle couldn't finish the play. Cayetano Cordarrol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albano Jago, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The supporters of Tusaquilla AFC booed when Gonnet FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Leguizamón didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Tusaquilla AFC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Iker Ortle hit a great ball. Iker Ortle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Cayetano Cordarrol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Gonnet FC defense, Albano Jago kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cayetano Cordarrol. The Gonnet FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cayetano Cordarrol should have stopped the shot. After the first half Tusaquilla AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albano Jago to strike the kick off in the second half. Iker Ortle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gonnet FC's Cayetano Cordarrol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Jago in the 59th minute of play. When Iker Ortle came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Tusaquilla AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iker Ortle couldn't finish the play. Cayetano Cordarrol acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 64th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Aaron Paskal. 65 minutes into the match, Gonnet FC's goal looked a bit too open when Albano Jago came free, but Cayetano Cordarrol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albano Jago blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cayetano Cordarrol having to make a save. Iker Ortle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Gonnet FC's Delmiro Espiridion got a free kick in the 69th minute. Delmiro Etxatxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Patrido, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the game, Delmiro Espiridion was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gonnet FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tusaquilla AFC the free kick. After some careless play in the Gonnet FC defense, Iker Ortle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cayetano Cordarrol. The Gonnet FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cayetano Cordarrol should have stopped the shot. In the 81st play minute Iker Ortle came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cayetano Cordarrol. 0-5. If Iker Ortle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iker Ortle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Cordarrol having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Jago in the 97th minute of play forced Gonnet FC's goalkeeper Cayetano Cordarrol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Gonnet FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tusaquilla AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
