Marcelino Irrintzi's late challenge caught a Falucho AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godofredo Ixona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Orlo having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Godofredo Ixona kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lino Orlo. That made the score 0-1 in the 55 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Ixona in the 59th minute of play forced Palomo Usuriaga AC's goalkeeper Lino Orlo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Palomo Usuriaga AC's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Egoi came free, but Lino Orlo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Falucho AFC's Joaquin Egoi got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lino Orlo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godofredo Ixona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute Gerardo Lluques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Eneko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Teofilo Socorro came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Palomo Usuriaga AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Socorro couldn't finish the play.
