Rigoberto Abar kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Pomelo Rock's Romeo Weather broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Pomelo Rock's Tadeo Paulin got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th play minute Edgardo Gonza came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ramon Perez. 1-0. The supporters of Quenumá booed when Pomelo Rock was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeo Paulin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Quenumá's Nereo Luzea tried to score from far away in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Pomelo Rock getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Daniel Ferdinand hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leon Bemabe in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ildefonso Maiorga saved Pomelo Rock from getting behind. Justo Ticho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Maiorga having to interfere. Quenumá's Leon Bemabe got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leon Bemabe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ildefonso Maiorga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Justo Ticho in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ildefonso Maiorga saved Pomelo Rock from getting behind. Ildefonso Maiorga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Bemabe, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Leon Bemabe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justo Ticho in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ildefonso Maiorga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Justo Ticho took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ildefonso Maiorga. Ildefonso Maiorga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victor Guib to make the kick off. If Justo Ticho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ildefonso Maiorga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Bemabe in the 56th minute of play. Pomelo Rock were furious when Honorio Primo was red carded, 58 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Pomelo Rock:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Quenumá:s goal. Ramon Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Gonza in the 66th minute of the match. The supporters of Pomelo Rock booed when Quenumá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo James didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramon Perez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Gonza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Justo Ticho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81stth minute of the game Leon Bemabe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pomelo Rock's Ildefonso Maiorga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pomelo Rock's Ildefonso Maiorga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Pomelo Rock from getting a goal against them. Tadeo Paulin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ramon Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes in the game Nereo Luzea after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Ildefonso Maiorga. A very good opportunity. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Quenumá had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
