Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Victor Guib started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Pomelo Rock's zone, Jesus Claus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ildefonso Maiorga came out of the goal and Jesus Claus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 6 minutes into the match, Pomelo Rock's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Mero came free, but Ildefonso Maiorga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 played minutes Pomelo Rock got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Ferdinand. If Jesus Claus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ildefonso Maiorga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Mero, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the game, Cecilio Primo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Patricios FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pomelo Rock the free kick. The supporters of Pomelo Rock booed when Patricios FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Primo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victor Guib fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Vincente having to interfere. In the 28th minute Victor Guib shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Vincente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Patricios FC's zone, Edgardo Gonza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severo Vincente came out of the goal and Edgardo Gonza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute, Victor Guib fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Severo Vincente, passed just outside the right post. Ildefonso Maiorga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Mero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Patricios FC's Damian Beltran got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Victor Guib received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Severo Vincente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lino Mero made a kick off. Severo Vincente didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgardo Gonza went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Lino Mero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Maiorga having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Patricios FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Guib came free, but Severo Vincente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricios FC's Severo Vincente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Gonza in the 65th minute of play. If Edgardo Gonza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgardo Gonza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Severo Vincente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Pomelo Rock's goalkeeper Ildefonso Maiorga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jesus Claus. In the 75th minute Lino Mero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ildefonso Maiorga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Patricios FC's Jesus Claus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ildefonso Maiorga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 84 played minutes Patricios FC got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Berbiz. After 87 played minutes Pomelo Rock got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Ferdinand. In the 88thth minute of the game Lino Mero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pomelo Rock's Ildefonso Maiorga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jesus Claus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Ildefonso Maiorga made a huge save. With a little luck, Pomelo Rock's Ildefonso Maiorga got control of the ball when Jesus Claus tried to sneak it across the goal line.
