In the 15th minute Virgilio Cristos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Teyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudio Basualdo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Javiar in the 16th minute of play. When Carlos Serafo fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alpachiri AFC's protests and gave Carlos Serafo a yellow card for diving instead. Isidro Ur kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
In the 54th match minute, Alpachiri AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Cilio to maneuver through the defense. Ceferino Javiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Basualdo having to interfere. In the 69thth minute of the game Ceferino Javiar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alpachiri AFC's Claudio Basualdo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Ernesto Eladio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Verna's Benicio Teyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Eladio in the 88th minute of play. Benicio Teyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Eladio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the game, Julio Iraitz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Claudio Basualdo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
