When Flavio Lucila came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Grupo Mand fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Lucila couldn't finish the play. Flavio Lucila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Alejandro Vargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Alejandro Vargas managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Grupo Mand's Efrain Seguinus fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 29 minutes in the game, Efrain Seguinus fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Alejandro Vargas having to interfere. Alejandro Vargas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flavio Lucila's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Flavio Lucila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Vargas having to interfere. After a rather tough play, La Gloria's Cipriano Olivar got a free kick in the 36th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Grupo Mand's Conrado Mitxel tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jonas Rodas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Gloria. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Filiberto Lazcano made the kick off in the second half. La Gloria's Alejandro Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Lucila in the 53rd minute of play. The La Gloria players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
