Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vinicio Dolcet got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Nueva Chicago's Fabricio Ihazintu got a free kick in the 4th minute. 4 minutes into the match, Lagash's Donato Niguel broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Godofredo Elodio got free with Ceferino Bertol in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Lagash's zone, Vinicio Dolcet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fidel Savion came out of the goal and Vinicio Dolcet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emanuel Truylos kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Fidel Savion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Frascuelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vinicio Dolcet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Savion having to interfere. In the 26th minute of the match Delmar Clis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fidel Savion skillfully saved the ball. Alfredo Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ceferino Bertol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nueva Chicago's Ceferino Bertol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Nueva Chicago from getting a goal against them. Godofredo Elodio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabian Frascuelo in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidel Savion prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th minute, Gaudencio Danel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ceferino Bertol was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredo Azevedo to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Lagash got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Danel. When Vinicio Dolcet came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Nueva Chicago fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vinicio Dolcet couldn't finish the play. After 59 minutes, Fabricio Ihazintu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nueva Chicago and the Lagash players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fabian Frascuelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Fidel Savion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vinicio Dolcet struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Fidel Savion didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nueva Chicago. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evaristo Matai during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 70 minutes into the match, Lagash's goalkeeper Fidel Savion had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabian Frascuelo. Vinicio Dolcet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Savion having to interfere. A hard shot 74 in the game by Fabian Frascuelo from a close distance when the talented Fidel Savion managed to make a qualified save. Lagash's players were relieved. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Alfredo Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Lagash fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Azevedo couldn't finish the play. After 96 minutes Nueva Chicago's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Donato Niguel who took care of the corner kick. Lagash's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Donato Niguel in the 97th minute. A nice corner shot did that Donato Niguel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ceferino Bertol quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Nueva Chicago players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lagash.
