Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Natalio Urre started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Conrado Rafel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Sixto Breogan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anastasio Rufo hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. With his leg Denis Maju managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Joyango's Anier Mikolas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Anier Mikolas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Denis Maju skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Adolfo Tibalt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Conrado Rafel in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sixto Breogan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute Adolfo Tibalt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Breogan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Congreso booed when Joyango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Liher didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Joyango's zone, Maximo Cibran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sixto Breogan came out of the goal and Maximo Cibran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute, Maximo Cibran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denis Maju made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Urre in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Natalio Urre fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Denis Maju, passed just outside the right post. If Anier Mikolas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conrado Rafel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Breogan having to interfere. Romeo Cucao's late challenge caught a Congreso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romeo Cucao helped the player get up and apologised. Romeo Cucao kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Sixto Breogan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Rafel, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Adolfo Tibalt made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Congreso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Dolfos to maneuver through the defense. Congreso's Denis Maju played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Urre in the 56th minute of play. When Conrado Rafel came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Congreso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrado Rafel couldn't finish the play. Adolfo Tibalt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute Anier Mikolas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Maju saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Joyango's Natalio Urre got a free kick in the 67th minute. Sixto Breogan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Tibalt in the 69th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Joyango got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Ferman. After 72 minutes Joyango's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Maximo Cibran who took care of the corner kick. Maximo Cibran made a great header on Congreso's corner, it was just that Joyango's Sixto Breogan managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Congreso booed when Joyango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Ferman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conrado Rafel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Breogan having to interfere. Denis Maju took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Mikolas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute Anier Mikolas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Maju saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Conrado Rafel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joyango's Sixto Breogan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Joyango from getting a goal against them.
