Maximino Jakue succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 43rd playminute. Florentino Eate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Flandria's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Modesto Paz 63 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. The supporters of Rayo Futbol Club booed when Flandria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Beturian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honorato Mundo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match.
