Mariscal Roberto Perfumo's Roberto Valery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candido Chesus in the 8th minute of play. In the 12th minute Candido Chesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Valery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Candido Chesus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Geronimo Caitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anacleto Eliazar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geronimo Caitano's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. 0-1 became the score in the 21st minute when Enrique Dantel elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Candido Chesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute Geronimo Caitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anacleto Eliazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Matagusanos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ceferino Acevedo to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Geronimo Caitano notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Matagusanos's Anacleto Eliazar. Anacleto Eliazar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anacleto Eliazar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enrique Dantel went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. If Raimundo Evarado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Mariscal Roberto Perfumo were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Enrique Dantel made the kick off in the second half. Desiderio Txema scored 1-3 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roberto Valery, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 59th minute, Ulises Paul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute, Matagusanos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Geronimo Caitano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Matagusanos's Severino Senon got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Geronimo Caitano struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. When Casimiro Guifre fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matagusanos's protests and gave Casimiro Guifre a yellow card for diving instead. 83 minutes into the match, Matagusanos's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Dantel came free, but Anacleto Eliazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Mariscal Roberto Perfumo's Anacleto Eliazar threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Enrique Dantel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Dantel in the 93rd minute of play forced Matagusanos's goalkeeper Anacleto Eliazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvestre Dalmau charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvestre Dalmau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Matagusanos booed when Mariscal Roberto Perfumo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Dalmau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Candido Chesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
