Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Diego Gelmiro got the match started through his kick off. Norberto Gil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Donato Rojelio made a huge save. In the 7th minute, Diego Gelmiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Horacio Ibar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Rojelio having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Marcial Mendebal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 15 minutes, Rogelio Neron mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newpi and the Moteagudo players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Moteagudo booed when Newpi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Neron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severino Magdaleno charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severino Magdaleno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Severino Magdaleno kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Javier Isadore kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Donato Rojelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Gelmiro in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to Newpi getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Severiano Llorienzo hit a great ball. Diego Gelmiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Donato Rojelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Diego Gelmiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Moteagudo's zone, Javier Isadore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benicio Claris came out of the goal and Javier Isadore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Javier Isadore to make the kick off. After 51 minutes, Basilio Mincho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newpi and the Moteagudo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Norberto Gil struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Donato Rojelio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moteagudo. Diego Gelmiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Donato Rojelio having to make a save. Diego Gelmiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Epifanio Uhin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donato Rojelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Gelmiro in the 65th minute of play. If Javier Isadore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Diego Gelmiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moteagudo's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Gelmiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato Rojelio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diego Gelmiro in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donato Rojelio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 76 minutes into the match, Moteagudo's goalkeeper Benicio Claris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Javier Isadore. After having played for 82 minutes, Norberto Gil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moteagudo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Gil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Rogelio Neron was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes had been played. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norberto Gil in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donato Rojelio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Norberto Gil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Rojelio having to interfere. Donato Rojelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Gelmiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Diego Gelmiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moteagudo's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Gelmiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato Rojelio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Moteagudo had played much better football throughout.
