In the 14th minute, Volcán's Alberto Guifre dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Elias Macario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herminio Odol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Macario in the 18th minute of play. If Omar Urritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Volcán's Elias Macario ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Herminio Odol. Herminio Odol yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. With a little luck, trapo's Herminio Odol got control of the ball when Omar Urritz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 39 minutes, Elias Macario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Volcán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Macario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to trapo getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Damian Jerano hit a great ball. Augusto Tajo made a great header on Volcán's corner, it was just that trapo's Herminio Odol managed to reach the ball for a save. Elias Macario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elpidio Baristo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Herminio Odol made a huge save.

Herminio Odol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 58 minutes into the match, trapo's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Macario came free, but Herminio Odol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elias Macario's late challenge caught a trapo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
