The Candonga FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Robustiano Beremundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiberto Castel in the 12th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Candonga FC's zone, Nemesio Pacho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robustiano Beremundo came out of the goal and Nemesio Pacho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silverio Matei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Gora having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Club Deportivo San Marino's Robustiano Beremundo threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Filiberto Castel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nemesio Pacho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Robustiano Beremundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Candonga FC's Robustiano Beremundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Castel in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute Silverio Matei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Gora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Candonga FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Filiberto Castel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduardo Roderigo during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Club Deportivo San Marino getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Eduardo Roderigo hit a great ball. Silverio Matei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Gora having to interfere. Benito Tome sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silverio Matei stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raul Gora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Matei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raul Gora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Matei in the 56th minute of play. Robustiano Beremundo came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Deportivo San Marino's Nemesio Pacho. But to his dismay, Nemesio Pacho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Robustiano Beremundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiberto Castel in the 67th minute of the match. Candonga FC's Robustiano Beremundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Castel in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, Romeo Cordario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Candonga FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Deportivo San Marino the free kick. Romeo Cordario kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Robustiano Beremundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Pacho in the 72nd minute of play. Silverio Matei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute Filiberto Castel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Beremundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Candonga FC's goalkeeper Robustiano Beremundo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club Deportivo San Marino had won after a very even match.
