After a rather tough play, Herederos De Karadagian's Ivan Matteo got a free kick in the 4th minute. Jacinto Laurendi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 9th minute. Herederos De Karadagian's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 12 minutes into the game, one of Deportivo Cristal:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Herederos De Karadagian a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Miguel Bastian, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Deportivo Cristal's Octavio Maiorga. 1-0. Maximo Ihintza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Irrintzi having to interfere. Octavio Maiorga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Laurendi in the 31st minute of play. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Cristal's goalkeeper Octavio Maiorga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Deportivo Cristal booed when Herederos De Karadagian was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Bastian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Octavio Maiorga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Laurendi in the 56th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Ivan Matteo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Cristal's Sixto Feliu got a free kick in the 61st minute. Octavio Maiorga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Laurendi in the 63rd minute of the match. Maximo Ihintza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ambrosio Irrintzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Deportivo Cristal booed when Herederos De Karadagian was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Selatse didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ambrosio Irrintzi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 71st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Leo Odon. Felix Maureo kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Octavio Maiorga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Matteo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximo Ihintza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deportivo Cristal's Maximo Ihintza got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Raimundo Eusko came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Deportivo Cristal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raimundo Eusko couldn't finish the play. 103 minutes into the match, Herederos De Karadagian's goalkeeper Ambrosio Irrintzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximo Ihintza. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Herederos De Karadagian fans cheered their team off the field, for while Deportivo Cristal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
