In the 8thth minute of the game Arturo Oriol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Calderón AFC's Aquiles Ramirez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 8th match minute, Calderón AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Pere to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Candido Galtero got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 22 minutes into the match, Candido Galtero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aquiles Ramirez. Calderón AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Candido Galtero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Jaunti in the 25th minute of play forced Carboni AFC's goalkeeper Gogo Orlanda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Carboni AFC's zone, Oscar Jaunti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gogo Orlanda came out of the goal and Oscar Jaunti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oscar Jaunti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Oscar Jaunti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laureano Fertus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arturo Oriol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Oscar Jaunti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arturo Oriol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Carboni AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Elodio. 58 minutes into the match, Calderón AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Galtero came free, but Aquiles Ramirez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aquiles Ramirez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Oriol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the game, Elias Nikola was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Calderón AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carboni AFC the free kick. In the 61st match minute, Calderón AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Nikola to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the game, Marco Odilon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carboni AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calderón AFC the free kick. The supporters of Calderón AFC booed when Carboni AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Odilon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Calderón AFC's Oscar Jaunti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gogo Orlanda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Gogo Orlanda successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Oscar Jauntis short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Gogo Orlanda to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Aquiles Ramirez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Oriol, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Carboni AFC's zone, Oscar Jaunti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gogo Orlanda came out of the goal and Oscar Jaunti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arturo Oriol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute Arturo Oriol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Ramirez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
