Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ceferino Cerilo got the match started through his kick off. When Baldomero Belarmo came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Sueldos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomero Belarmo couldn't finish the play. Benicio Ubelteso's late challenge caught a Castelar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benicio Ubelteso helped the player get up and apologised. Ceferino Cerilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benedicto Romelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceferino Cerilo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Modesto Inguma during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 11 minutes into the game, one of Castelar:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Segundo Tonete placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Leandro Casado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Oro in the 17th minute of play. After 18 minutes, Candido Gorri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Castelar and the Sueldos players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Castelar getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Candido Gorri hit a great ball. Sueldos's Abelardo Oro got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leandro Casado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Ishmael in the 21st minute of play. Benedicto Romelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceferino Cerilo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ceferino Cerilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Romelio having to interfere. With a little luck, Sueldos's Benedicto Romelio got control of the ball when Leonardo Paul tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 42 minutes, Ceferino Cerilo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castelar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ceferino Cerilo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Castelar's Leonardo Paul was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 45th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abelardo Oro to make the kick off. Anier Ishmael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Leandro Casado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anier Ishmael blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leandro Casado having to make a save. A collision led to Sueldos getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Sixto Ezkerra hit a great ball. Leonardo Paul scored 3-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benedicto Romelio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Sueldos's zone, Ceferino Cerilo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedicto Romelio came out of the goal and Ceferino Cerilo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ceferino Cerilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Romelio having to interfere. Anier Ishmael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Leandro Casado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Abelardo Oro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Casado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Leonardo Salomon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Castelar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sueldos the free kick. In the 85th minute, Leonardo Salomon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abelardo Oro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Casado having to interfere. Anier Ishmael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Leandro Casado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sueldos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
